All Davis Lighting Linear T8 fluorescent louvred
luminaires such as the Callisto low bright model shown above employ a
latch system unique to Davis Lighting. The latch system allows the louvre to be hinged down from one end, or completely removed for maintenance . The louvre can be fitted only one way, eliminating the possibility of installation errors, and is positively earthed to the frame for safety. With this latch system there is no confusion as to how the louvre is to be removed for maintenance, so often the case with louvred luminaires utilizing the wishbone spring system. With Davis Lighting there is no chance of accidental damage to the louvre due to confusion by unfamiliar maintenance staff. |

| The Low Bay Pac is easy and fast to install
as the base can be mounted and hard wired prior to installation of the
luminaire. A simple plug -in arrangement completes the installation. |
||
| For maintenance the main body is hinged to allow clear unobstructed access to the control gear and lamp chamber. | ||
| Installation of HID luminaires is always a
concern due to the weight of the fixture, and in many cases, limited access
around the incoming cables termination area. This is not a concern with
the Davis Low Bay Pac. After fitting the base only, hard wiring of incoming
cables can be completed. The main body is then hung from the hinge end
of the base which takes the weight of the luminaire. The main body is
then swung into position on the base, and a support bracket is inserted.
This secures the luminaire while the main body is screwed to the base
using a single captive screw. As well as clear unobstructed access to the control gear and lamp chamber, the control gear is mounted on a tray, which is easy to remove for replacement. |
